Is there a way to associate a specific exchange or data type with
a symbol. When I use workspace assistant with a third party symbol
list, the symbol for a futures contract is often the same as for a
stock.
The default seems to be stock so my strategies get run with the wrong
point values. If I go into the symbols universe and manually select
futures,
there is no problem but when I run workspace assistant, it defaults back
to stock. Any solutions ?
