Donīt blame France for this they have France Telecom as their main phone
company.Quote.com belongs to Terra a subsidiary of Telefonica S.A.
You have seen nothing yet.Their practices abroad should not be very
different from the ones in Spain with expensive phone calls and internet
service.The price of the internet connection in Spain doubles the price for
the same service in US and is one of the most expensive ones in the European
Union.
Telefonica is well known for abusing its customers in Spain and South
America.It used to be a public monopoly and now it is a private monopoly and
it is starting to suffer some competition and probably they need to squeeze
someone else.
NOW you know who you are dealing with.
