Dimension 4 hasn't been updated in years and it doesn't work with XP but
I found a free one I like pretty well. It's called DS Clock and it has a
customizable display window. The biggie for me is it lets me display the
time with seconds in a small window, something that was always a hassle
before. You can use Excel-like date/time strings to set up which
information is displayed and how. For example, the gif uses: 

ddd M/d   h:mm:ss tt
