As a reminder -
In order to make sure that your Version 4.0 Data Server time
changes correctly, please perform the following steps before
trading commences on Sunday afternoon (for evening futures
sessions) or Monday morning (all other symbols).
BMI Bonneville, DBC Signal and S&P ComStock Users:
1. Exit all programs, preferably before the time change on Sunday
morning at 2:00am Eastern Standard Time (datafeed time).
2. Shutdown the computer.
3. After the time change and before the market open on Sunday evening
(for globex futures) or Monday morning you should start your computer
and confirm that Windows has correctly changed the clock to adjust
for Daylight Saving Time. If the time has not changed properly under
Windows, we recommend you reboot your computer once more and, if
necessary, check the Date/Time properties from the Start | Settings |
Control Panel window.
4. If the time has changed correctly, start your Version 4.0 Data
Server.
5. Check the datafeed date and time in the lower right hand corner of
the Server. It should read the correct datafeed time (Eastern Standard
Time) and the offset should be GMT - xxx min (Greenwich Mean Time
minus xxx minutes). [xxx for your time zone]
If the time is correct, you may restart all your Version 4.0 Products.
If the time is not correct, try exiting the Server, rebooting your
computer and once again restarting the Server.
