Simon,

I agree with everyone else on this. Go with NTFS. It is more efficient
than FAT. As far as experiencing any AMD XP problems my personal answer is
no. I am however running TS2000i on Win2k Pro (SP2), not TS4. In over 3
months I have experienced no CPU related problems running TS on my AMD XP
1700+, 1800+ or 1900+ systems. Best of luck to you!

Subject: File system - NTFS or FAT?

I'm building a new PC dedicated to running TS4. It'll just be running:

Datafeed + Dynastore + TradeStation 4

under Win2000 Pro. Nothing else will be on the machine.

Should I use the NTFS file system or FAT?

Rgds
Simon
PS. I'm looking to match Win2000 with an AMD Athlon XP CPU on this box.
Anyone using this combo with TS4??? (problems or positive feedback
appreciated!).
