global server / data manager question

I am a newbie to using TS2k on  Win 2k with BMI cable feed.

I notice that the available memory on the data manager starts off after a reboot at 33% then starts to climb to 87%.

I also notice that my data will get behind some of the live charts running in RT.

Is there any correlation between the two? Snag in slowing down data?
