This is a legitimate concern.

Many of us only look at a few stocks (the ones we are trading or thinking of trading): we can check the data at places like bigcharts.com and stockcharts.com.

Tha data from Reuters will be accurate. That is the value. I had
posted a study many moons ago of older HQuote data from yahoo
finance with the errors using the DJ30 stocks, that showed there are
errors - not sure if its dividend yield adjusted or not but there
were deviations. Question will be how important is that to you. Two
months Reuters - Lifetime of one of the other with some errors in
data. Your decision.
