If there's any stock market crash don't look elsewhere.... just look at Wall Street! Wars, politics have never been blamed.... 1929 was a prelude to The Geat Depression; 1987 reminds me of the scourge of program trading, among others! 1999 - Was it really that bad? Well the Asian economic turmoil preceeded that, I think. Its the economy (capitalistic economy) that was the major cause of previous crashes - including Tulipomania, South sea bubble, Dot-com crash, etc. etc. Even the Japanese property bubble of the 1980s can't do much damage globally!

So again, if you are talking of another crash divert your microscope towards Wall Street and the Generals there! Yes they wear Armani suits, not Army fatigues! Any cause for alarm? NO SIR... remember Ravi Batra's book in the late-80s?

Nobody reads the Boston Herald...its the New York Times.

Besides 1929, 1987 and 1999... notice that those are odd years not
even... next year maybe.
