For a start, all of what you are trying to achieve is easily achieved
in the native MetaStock Formula Language.  If you want to write a .dll
add-in then you are going to have to re-program each of the native MS
functions, then you are going to have to delve into the realms of the
MetaStock File Language to open different data files for the different
time periods.  Personally, I would have a look at the functions
provided by Roy Larsen and Jose Silva for the solution from with MS
itself instead of MSX.

I would also consider changing my screen name, 'expert' doesn't seem
to be the right choice of name does it?
