Copernicus Books is part of Springer-Verlag .. I don't think that you have
to worry about their credibility.
Re trading ... for starters .. you might want to start with Chapter 5 on
"Streakiness" ... you can just squint when you come to the math. I find it
helpful in preventing a really tired feeling from overwhelming me.<G>
