Re: Problem installing Metastock Pro

Thanks again to James, Theo, David, Lionel and everyone else who so kindly
offered suggestions to help me solve this problem. The notebook concerned
comes with my day job, so unfortunately I'm not able to try solutions such
as upgrading the hardware or changing the OS.

I had no difficulties with Metastock Support, in fact they were very
helpful - spent 2 hours with me on the phone trying various ways to solve
the problem, then sent me a replacement CD free of charge in case the CD was
defective.

Theo, I'm looking forward to seeing whether you manage to install MS Pro on
W2000. I suspect you will have no problem - it's probably my PC's OS or
hardware which is at fault.

It's fabulous to get such terrific support from the group when a problem
like this occurs - thanks again everyone, and happy holidays.

All the best,
Nick (in Australia)
