Nick,

I can't specifically comment on Metastock Pro. however, I had problems like
you wouldn't believe, installing TradeStation software under Win 2000 e.g on
service pack 4, it worked fin but on SP5, it screwed up the security etc
etc. I resorted to installing the software under Windows NT and and then
upgrading to Win 2000. This worked well and it didn't take too long.
Metastock pro works fine under Win 2000 having gone thru this route.
