Neo,

Excel and VB6 are two different programs. Excel, and now all Office
programs for that matter, can be programmed with VBA (Visual Basic for
Applications). In Excel press ALT-F11 and you will be taken to the
programming interface. You cannot, however, compile programs with VBA.

Subject: Excel & Visual Basic 6.0

Does anyone know if Excel 97 has Visual Basic 6.0? If not, what are the
differences between the version in Excel 97 and 6.0? Is it necessary to
upgrade to Excel 2000 to get VB 6.0? Is it a full implementation or does one
need to purchase Visual Basic?

thanks, neo
