     They are numbers in the Fibonacci series where you get the next number
by adding the last two together (0,1,1,2,3,5,8,13,21,34,55,89, 144, 233,
etc).  I'm not a mathematician and don't begin to know why, but they do
seem to work better in most cases <G>.

Hi Jim 
I was applying the moving averages to some charts and was curious as to why
the 21,55 and 233 exponential. What is significant about these numbers or
is it experience. Also 6.5 is on the way can't wait to try out the terma
smoothing.
