Technical Analysis of Stock & Commodities and WOW Pro v5

Yesterday I wrote the email below. It's too bad the Technical Analysis of
Stock & Commodities magazine and the others never researched the subject of
TA software deeply enough. TA software has become very important for traders
today. Everyday users buy Window on Wall Street Pro v5 and they don't even
know the program is worthless. If they relied on the WOW system tester they
could lose everything. PC Magazine still gives WOW Pro v5 its Editor's
Choice! I emailed all of the major magazines and no one has even bothered to
tell their readers. They are such a joke. What the hell are they there for,
collect paychecks?

Daniel.

You might also want to consider Window on Wall Street Deluxe $100. It also
has fundamental information, but no system tester. Few people know this but
the Window on Wall Street Pro v5 system tester has a serious bug which makes
its reports worthless. I have not seen one post on the Silicon Investor
mentioning this. Those poor people have a program which is worthless. They
got ripped off and they don't even know it:

This is from another email I sent someone else:

...search for all of my postings using the Deja News search engine. This is

I don't think you have to register for this one. You put this line in the
search box and click on find:

make sure the "Search Results Format" option is Threaded. There are 4

In a message dated 97-07-06 15:52:45 EDT, you write:

<< the best software to get "TRENDLINES alerts" at a very low cost under
 $50.00 is the
"wall street analyst DELUXE". it reads existing data (eg worden bros.
 tc2000).
you can draw your own trend lines or have automatic trendlines drawn
(and many other indicators) check off the alert box & you are ready.
to find stocks meeting certain conditions ie line breaks, rsi crossing
etc, you run their "alert tracking control scanner" and all stocks that
have generated a signal, are listed.
just thought you might be interested.

i use it in conjuction with metastock (as trendline alarms are not
 available).
metastock however lets you write "expert alerts" which i also use:
i write the signal condition in the space provided in alerts & attach it
 to each stock.
when i access a chart a message comes up (pre written by myself eg ."rsi
 generated a buy"

 good luck trading
