At the Equis web site there are instructions for find comparative relative
strength. These are complete and work.

There are also instructions for creating a relative strength exploration.
These are inadequate and incomplete. I tried them on 2 directories
containing about 150 stocks. All were rejected. The message in the reject
list said that a closing price was needed. Do I need to have a copy of the
S&P in each directory for the exploration to work?

Another problem with the comparative relative strength, is that the results
are not normalized. The program simply divides the close by the value of
the S&P close on the same date. What is needed is for the results at some
starting date be set to 1 This would simplify some of the subsequent
analysis and searches.
