The file is called Netscape.hst, and it contains all the sites you've visited. You
can delete it, but netscape will start building a new one right away.

I am forwarding a recent posting to this this:

Some of you had some interest when I posted the Netscape "about:global"
command. Here is another one I came across...."about:plugins" This will
give you a list of plugins that have been added to your browser, such as
Shockwave, QuickTime, etc..

Say you are at work and want to get rid of your "about:global" list for
safety reasons....like you don't want your boss to see it. Look in your
Netscape directory or wherever you have Navigator on the hard drive and find
"netscape.hst." If you delete this file it should erase your "global" info.
Important....make sure Navigator is closed before you delete the file.
That, or move it to a temp directory where Navigator cannot see it.

However, just remember. Removing "global" will not prevent Navigator from
building a new file all over again. And some bosses are nosey!!!!

Jerry....Now a 2nd grade computer graduate!!

Lotsa luck.
