[RT] Impulse Dates

Trading Reference Links

I agree that 2/9 will be an important impulse date.  However for me 2/9 has less significance for the small caps.  Below is what I get, so far, for impulse dates for several indices.  I say so far because impulse days can occasionally move from one date to another.  A case in point is an email I sent out 10/28/08 where I agreed with Jim White that 11/04 was an impulse date.  On 11/03 I got more hits for 11/05 and I sent out an email to this group stating that.  Well, 11/04 turned out to be a strong up-day and the last time the S&P closed above 1000.  On 11/05 the market dropped over 5% starting a strong leg down.

SP-500 - 2/9
DJ-30  - 2/9
OEX  - 2/9
NASDAQ  - 2/11
QQQQ  - 2/17
NYSE  -  2/18
Russell 2000  -  2/18
Russell 1000  -  2/18
SOX  -  2/18
Nasdaq 100  - 2/23

Just saw him on CNBC and researched him too. He is calling for a bottom (within a few days) until Mid March. He seemed disinclined to point to date or price but apparently is well able to do that. Anybody got a clue about his forecasts?

Thanks,

Kate
