From the NYSE web site:
*Early Closings: The NYSE will close at 1:00 p.m. EST on Thursday, July 3, in honor of Independence Day, Friday, November 28, in honor of Thanksgiving, and Wednesday, December 24 and Friday, December 26, in honor of Christmas.
So it looks as if the stock market closes at 4PM eastern as usual.
