I have always been a BIG fan of lawyer jokes; which of course have a
wonderful basis in reality.  I am not among the appeal group.  I had to
fight
tooth and nail to get the unused portion of a retainer refunded to me from
one
of the law firms involved.   My entire point is that the lawyer for the
appellate
group is being paid on an hourly fee basis; not a contingency basis; as you
shrewdly pointed out.  As far as justice is concerned; I think we can forget
about that and I don't want to bore this group with those details.  As
citizens;
we should never vote for any lawyer for public office, imho......What do you
call a lawyer with an IQ of 100?  a judge......
