The first indication that y2k turns out to be a big yawn may be coming from
the energy complex. Take a look at Feb unleaded. Maybe everyone's gas tank
is now full.
I remember in 1974 when several of my friend's fathers had large
underground tanks installed so they would be sure not to run out of gas -
at the top, of course.
Bigger themes to consider for 2000: CRB stuff, in particular the grains,
cotton (may be taking off right now), cocoa.
