I'm really surprised to find that we don't quite see eye to eye on this
issue.

I'm a Trader, I am not a Vendor, nor a CTA. I'm not promoting or selling any
product
or service. I am here to learn about and improve my trading skills and
discuss
trading .... with other bona fide traders.

I would like to be able to do so without fear of getting inundated with SPAM
for
"miracle million dollar trading systems", "wonder brokerage houses", or
"genius
CTA's", "Amazing New Newsletters", "Briliant Market analysis", and the rest
of all
the Snake Oil that's get's peddled to the members of this mailling
list...etc...
Does anyone really have a problem with that?

I have a perfect right to protect myself against SPAM and attempts by
vendors to
SPAM me..

The score of helpful, straighforward answers to my simple direct
Non-Spamming
questions far out-numbered the minority of "ankle-biters".

What this demonstrates is that the majority of persons who read my e-mail
quite
properly concluded that my ANT-SPAM warning neither applied to them nor was
in any
way threatening. They also saw fit to reply to me in a most helpful manner.

The really interesting observation is that the almost all the "ankle-biters"
are
either Vendors, or CTA's, and have historically been the most serious SPAM
offenders
on this list.

In this age of SPAM it is quite common practice and acceptable "nettiquette"
to
employ a whole variety of anti-SPAM techniques, from "NOSPAM" return e-mail
addresses, and the inclusions of DIRE WARNINGS against SPAM in Maillist and
Newsgroup e-mail.

Again, my only comment is for you to consider that the "source" of the
"issue
taking" e-mail are the notorious SPAMMERS on this list.

All proper decent germane responses have been profusely thanked & responded
to
courteously and properly with sincere gratitude.

Believe me, I have no intention of getting sucked into an off topic
"Flaming Match"
with anyone.
