On brokerages for stock options and index options, I use Charles Schwab by
telephone - called "Schwab 500" - and am extemely satisfied. It meets all
your criteria, i.e., fast execution, great customer service, zero hold times.
I have a regular group of people who answer my 1-800 calls. They know what
I want, i.e., range of strikes, give me quotes of active options, etc.
