Hi Alex, not sure if you have solved your chart loading problem yet.

Something you said reminded me that I have seen weird behavior when trying to build charts from ascii data where the date and time fields for the ascii data don't agree with the Windows regional settings for datetime. That is something worth checking.

Well, thanks to the answers here, I have recovered all my
EasyLanguage code I wrote, and archived it. Much appreciated.

Unfortunately, I can't use TradeStation yet.

I have had UAC disabled since I got this computer.

My Vista is 32-bit.

I have tried a clean install of ProSuite, running setup.exe as
Administrator.

And still, when I try to load a 3rd-party ascii data file, the chart
aborts and returns to an empty workspace.

I've killed my screen saver, Google Desktop, and other background
tasks, to no avail.

I've gone through every .exe file I could find in the Omega
Research folder (I found them in Program and Program\Drivers\NT),
right-clicked on each one, and set each one compatible with Windows
XP SP2. To no avail. I tried Windows 98 compatibility, and got a
bunch of MEM BAD PTR errors.

I've run Tradestation itself as Administrator, to no avail.

The funny thing is, GlobalServer seems to work (although I have no
data feed), TradeStation runs (I can do anything except create a
chart) and PowerEditor works just fine.

Damn, this is frustrating. I'm giving up for tonight.
