Software comparison grid for big change.

I am looking to change my trading software from Qcharts to something 
better yet reasonably priced. In the past one of the trading related 
organizations had a publication with a trading software comparison grid 
to compare the main features including price for all software available 
at that time. Is there anything like that around these days? In the end 
I will spend several weeks creating my own personal grid in excel to 
make my final carefully thought out and planned decision. The goal is to 
make demo testing as efficient as possible by knowing exactly what I am 
looking for and having an efficient system to record and score what I 
find in each demo.
