Re: TS trading platform impressive

I have TradeStation securities and futures accounts and am very happy with them. All the orders types you mention work with electronic futures such as ES and options. They also have trailing stop and complex conditional orders.

I do not trade the non-electronic pit-traded commodities but to trade these, you have to use a separate account and separate trading platform.

Get a fast computer with at least 1GB of RAM. You also need broadband Internet, obviously.

I have been buying Sony computers recently and Viewsonic LCD monitors, but I haven't done much research on the matter. The Sony computers seem much more stable than my DELL machine and, unlike DELL, can run for days without rebooting. Windows XP Pro is now the standard.

Hope this helps.
