[SOLVED] Re: TS4 and universe.mdb

PureBytes Links

Trading Reference Links

I solved it - every future appears with a seperate record for each Data Vendor and for some reason there was only one record for each Eurex future, but for the wrong Vendor.

I just imported all the data from TS2000's universe into my TS4 universe, and I have a strange little problem.

Looking directly at the data in the universe.mdb with MS Access, I can see from my query that an exchange (Eurex) has about a dozen futures.

However when I try to call these up by choosing the Exchange dropdown in the TS4 dialog box for the universe settings, it seems the link is gone and clicking on Find produces zero futures for Eurex.

Other exchanges have their futures there, no problems, just this one exchange is acting funny.

Does anybody remember this ever happening?

I don't know if the TS4 and TS2ki universe.mdb are interchangeable.
It wont help much though because the last one issued was for TS2ki
about five years ago so it is out of data also. I'll send it to you
if you want. Wont hurt to try it if you just rename the one you are
using now. I think you will have to enter all the data you need or
want in by hand in any event.

It's been a while since I looked at using my TS4 on some of the European and other futures contracts out there and I found that my symbol and exchange universe.mdb is out of date.

I vaguely remember downloading an updated universe - but I don't remember where from. I presume from http://www.tradestation2000i.com but that brings me to another problem - I haven't got a login username for the website and Omega customer service is ignoring my pleas for help in setting one up - their automated system doesn't recognise me.

Anybody know where to get universe.mdb from?

Or perhaps does anybody know of a way of coercing a response out of customer service?

Thanks
