Ian,

When you download data or even import data it takes the Global Server
a good deal of time to actually get it in the files.  If you close it
forcefully your files may be corrupted.  I always turn on the Task
Manager to see what my CPUs are doing.  They will be pretty busy until
the GS actually has digested the data.  I never try to import anything
else until the CPU level drops.  I don't keep the task manager on top
but minimize it.  You can still see the little usage icon by the
Windows clock.

Vacation was great.  Bermuda weather was better than anywhere on
earth.  Off topic, sorry.
