Yeah good idea , ive seen a dll somewhere for getting realtime off your pc.
You could take a sample of your data every 10 secs.

That seems like a lot of work.
You might try writing the indicators you apply to your tick charts as
time-based.
That way your indicators give you
something constant no matter how fast the ticks are flying.
