Power Basic as Global Variable Alternative

Greetings:

I was investigating another alternative to the fastest form of Global
Variable,
and was wondering why I don't see more on Power Basic on this site.

The Global variables, functions, and debugger are available (FREE) for
PB/Win 7.02($200) from:

http://64.233.167.104/search?q=cache:KNi4yxQlm1sJ:www.powerbasic.com/files/p
ub/pbwin/xlang/+tradestation+visual+basic&hl=en

This language is a Windows 'root' language that takes advantage of Windows
compilation mechanics,
and its coded in Basic format. The above dll's are not 'protected', so you
do not have to rely on
(maybe) 'one' guru for answers that may or may not do what you want after
weeks of wasted agony and $.

I may buy PB Win today after churning thru PB GV documentation and start
working on GV's, and hopefully,
it will give 'Jurik' smooth results(?). It can't solve everything, but it
seems like the best GV alternative
from many aspects:
cost, FAST, simple code, most direct memory interface, and Open source
dll's.
And the 'FAST' may be the most important of all variables, along with simple
code(Basic-?).

Maybe its another 'pipe dream' and there are many people much smarter here
than I; but after spending months trying
out many GV alternatives, this seems like a likely candidate for sure. All
programming sux anyway, but the main
thing to me is to be working on code you will stick with, so no wasted
efforts (agony) expended.
" Damned if you do and damned if you don't! "

Anyway, just wanted to get feedback from the many IT guru's on this site,
who may or may not be swayed by
languages they have spent mega hours developing. All input is good!

Thanks,
