stock data advice

Hello,

I am in the process of coding a system to trade the
S&P.  It will involve looking at each of the stocks in
the S&P to generate trades in the actual index.  I was
looking to get data for the past 5 years for the index
stocks and to code it in Microsoft access.  Does
anyone have any recommendations for data vendors?  In
addition does anyone have any experience coding in
access.  Thanks in advance.
