I use IB for emini trades and it is by far the favorite I have ever used.
The only problem I have experienced has to do with losing connection with
the ib server...it automatically reconnects but there are a few dead seconds
in the meantime. Some days this happens literally hundreds of times. They
say it is an internet problem but I'm not sure I agree. Still working on a
solution.
