Sounds like a corrupt Win or TS install or possibly both.  Despite whatever 
ODBC believes and although it's not easy or fun, in rare cases it's 
necessary to go back to ground-zero with a clean Win install, including 
re-formatting the HD --  I'm painfully going through it right now with a 
VPN install that corrupted Win-98 and rendered the box FUBAR...
