Hi all! Think my last post didn't make it because of size...
Attached is a little spreadsheet containing results from 6 variations of a
trading system I was playing with yesterday. It is in text form to save
space... open in Word.
There's been much discussion about what stats are most relevant, so I
thought it might be informative to see how others would interpret this list
to pick the "best" overall set of statistics and why.
The main inputs were not reoptimized for the six tests. These variations
merely tested minor changes in code and bar price calculation. The stock was
CIEN.
