I've looked into PowerST a fair amount.  It doesn't use a limited C 
language -- you can use full C++.  It's specialized for doing end-of-
day portfolio testing, and I believe it does an excellent job at it.  
Intraday is coming, but it's not clear when.  Real-time execution is 
not supported but he is thinking about ways to support it.

This is still a pipe dream at this point.  It will not be at a 
Tradestation level of usability, IMO, for quite a while -- if ever.  
The website doesn't appear to have been touched in 7 months, but the 
main page at SourceForge does show recent updates.
