Just to add to what Gary said:

You can "work around" this "feature" if you really want to collect volume with your futures.  The
following works well with Dynastore and Quote.com, but I don't know about eSignal.  There needs to
be a way to map the input symbol in the feed to the symbol in your Global Server.

Create a new symbol in GS, such as NQ2001Z or something of your choosing.  You can use your
Futures Template and set the exchange to CME.....BUT, make sure you specify that it is a Stock. 
You'll need to go through the additional information screens like points value and movement size,
etc.

Once that symbol is set up in GS, then it's just a matter of telling Dynastore that NQ Z1 or NQ01Z
is equal to NQ20001Z in GS.  You'll have to find the appropriate mapping in eSignal or
MetaServerRT.
