Hello
its quite easy and only a 2 minutes job the fix the problem with Esignal
shutdown all 2000i programs
open windows explorer and go to
\(location of 2000i programs)\server\dbconline
double click on file ExchMan.txt
you will see
;DBC Online Exchange Manager
39
change the second line to
5,39
and save this file
Start 2000i again and it should work
If the problem exist as well with DBC Broadcast (I don't know) or some
converters you have to add a entry into registry
Click on start - open and type in regedit
click on HKey_current_user - Software - Omega Research - Server -
DBC Subserver.Signal
right click and add a String (zeichenfolge in German) named
"ExchangeManagerFile" (without quotation mark)
double click at the new key named ExchangeManagerFile and type in the direct
path to the file exchman.txt
c:\(location of 2000i programs)\server\dbconline\exchman.txt
if you run German windows the path is normally
C:\Programme\Omega Research\Server\DBCOnline\exchman.txt
or English windows C:\Program Files\Omega
Research\Server\DBCOnline\exchman.txt
Don't forget to change the second line of this file with notepad to 5,39
(see above)

it's not a Esignal problem. It's based to global server because this
software can not handle electronically futures
I really hope that a service pack 6 is very soon available to fix this and
many other problems.
