This document explains how to resolve the error message "The decompression
of %s failed. There may not be enough free disk space available in the TEMP
directory."
How To:
This error is the result of the Setup program trying to create a directory
in the Windows\Temp directory where a directory of the same name already
exists. The procedure below deletes all files and folders from the C:\TEMP
for Windows NT users, C:\WINDOWS\TEMP for Windows 95/98 users, or
C:\Documents and Settings\USER\Local Settings\TEMP for Windows 2000 users.
Note: If you keep files in these directories that are not Temporary files
created by programs, remove those files to an alternate location before
completing this procedure. Complete the procedure exactly as stated and
contact Omega Research Technical Support if you have any questions about the
procedure.
1.	Close all programs.
2.	Click the Start | Find | Files or Folders menu.
3.	Click the Browse button.
4.	For Windows NT users: Double-click the C Drive to expose its
contents.
Click the Temp folder to highlight it with your mouse, you may have
to scroll down to locate the Temp folder.
For Windows 95/98 users: Double-click the C Drive to expose its
contents. Double-click the Windows Folder to expose its contents, you may
have to scroll down to locate the Windows folder. Click the Temp folder to
highlight it with your mouse, you may have to scroll down to locate the Temp
folder. For Windows 2000 users: Double-click the C Drive to expose its
contents.
Double-click the Documents and Settings folder to expose its
contents. Double-click the USER folder (where USER is the Login name of the
currently logged in user) to expose its contents. Double-click the Local
Settings folder to expose its contents. Click the Temp folder to highlight
it with your mouse, you may have to scroll down to locate the Temp folder.
5.	Click OK.
6.	Verify that the Look in: window reads C:\TEMP for Windows NT users,
C:\WINDOWS\TEMP for Windows 95/98 users, or C:\Documents and
Settings\USER\Local Settings\TEMP for Windows 2000 users. If it does not,
repeat steps 3 through 5.
7.	In the Named: box, enter '*.*' without the quotes
(asterisk.asterisk).
8.	Verify that the Include subfolders box is checked.
9.	Click the Find Now button.
10.	A list of files will be displayed in the box below. Click the Edit |
Select All menu.
NOTE: Many programs place files with various extensions in these
temporary folders including program installations. These files are not
always properly deleted after they are no longer needed. If you have any
doubts about the contents of this directory, it is recommended that you copy
its contents to another folder before proceeding. This procedure will place
the contents of the Temp folder into the Recycle Bin.
11.	Click the File | Delete button.
12.	If prompted, click Yes to send the files to the Recycle Bin.
13.	Click Yes or Yes to all to any further prompts.
14.	Click the File | Close button to exit the Find Files dialog and
re-attempt the installation.
NOTE: In a very limited number of cases, clearing the TEMP
directories has not resolved this issue. In these cases, the hard disk
should be cleared of any file with the name 'Setup.ini' without the quotes.
Use the Find Files or Folders Utility in Windows to search for and delete
this file.
If you have any further questions or concerns, please feel free to
contact us. Thank you for your continued support.

Subject: SP5 installation problem

I am installing TradeStation2000i onto my new
secondary hard drive with Win2000 on it. From SP3 to
SP4 there was no problem. From SP4 to SP5 I got the
following message. I have nothing in my temp folder.
The drive is new with 30 gig of space. Could someone
help?
Thanks,

Julian
