I am not sure that PC133 will be any faster than PC100 unless you memory bus
runs at 133MHz. And I can tell you that I tried putting PC100 in an old PC
with a 66MHz memory bus and the 64MB SIMM turned into an 8MB SIMM. I got
the same result with 2 different SIMMs from 2 different manufacturers.
While it might work (or might not), it probably will not be any faster than
the bus. The MHz in this case refer to the cycle time of the memory, iow,
how many times a second you can query the SIMM for the value stored at a
particular address. If your bus runs at 100MHz, that's the speed limit no
matter how fast your SIMM is.
