I've also noticed this, and also have about 2k files - and only a small
fraction of my TS4 studies have been transferred! It seems that TS2k dumps
almost *everything* there! I sometimes go in and rename files, etc, but it
gets to be a big hassle to even *find* what I'm looking for.

In (unfortunately) true Omega style, the "management", bad as it is, is
done entirely in TS, so again we can do only what Omega allows us to do.
A much more logical structure would be to assign subdirectories for the
various categories, to at least keep the different kinds of things
separate. It does not seem as though this was thought out very well.

I've tried to use subdir's, but can't get TS to look anywhere else except
the main dir. Anyone know a way to do this?

In typical Omega style, their fix will probably be to *totally* obfuscate
what's in there as they have with the studies - use names such as
T000023.asc, which won't be an ASCII file, of course, and the real name
will be known only to the 'index' file. This insures that any glitches
will cause the maximum number of problems. Their solution for problems
would be to simply recreate all the files again - hey, no problem, right?

A little better organization in TS would lessen the problems for all of
us, Omega included.

On second thought, changes of this type would not add more eye candy, and
would have no impact on dog-and-pony demos and marketing - therefore it
will probably NOT get done.

If someone has any ideas about management of this junkpile, I'd like to
know too...
