I have also seriously considered this. No offense intended to Mark,
but I'm nervous about relying on ANYthing that isn't already the
market & proven, and that I didn't put together with my own two
hands. Once TWX has been out for a while and has proven itself,
great, but in the meantime I want something that *I* can fix if
necessary.

David, and any others also thinking about it, maybe we should join
forces and work together to develop something we can all use? That
will work especially well if we have common needs. E.g. I'm a
systematic trader so I don't need a lot of discretionary tools like
Gann fans, Fib tools, etc etc. I just need a platform to collect and
chart data, and to develop, backtest, and run systems. Anybody else
in that boat, who would also like to help develop a simple platform?

Does anybody have any experience with the charting &etc libraries
available from FMlabs (www.fmlabs.com) and Tierra del Fuego
(www.tdfltd.com)? I have heard from one person that the FMlabs
toolkit looks nice, but it's buggy, the order management software is
fundamentally flawed, and they are unresponsive to support requests.
Anybody else?
