On a more serious note, I am a fan of many Ross setups but don't trade a
hook because I don't find it reliable. If price makes a double top with a
small spike, you are in losses before you get notification of your fill
price. Much rather trade ledge breakouts. Ledges are 3-10 bars that have
squared off highs and lows. i.e., a small congestion area.

I have done well with Ross's breakout of an ledge into a gap opening. Recent
opening gaps have been closed, but the ledge breakout is much less risky and
will often continue beyond the gap and take out the prior high (or low).
Look at Aug 2 (I think) as an example. (I don't have my charts up.)

N.B. I refuse to enter any discussions about: Opening Gaps - Do They Exist
in the Era of Round-the-Clock Trading.
