The difference here was Toby never claimed to discover anything. He published
an entire book of research and evidence about this concept (volatility
contraction) and others. If what you say is true about Jake, then it is only
a question of whether Larry *discovered* it from Jake (who he worked with) or
if he *discovered* it from Toby. I guess he knew about both guys' work, and
if my memory serves he said he *discovered* the concept, and he never
mentioned Jake or Toby. (BW)
