Computer Ques from an appliance operator

For Computer Whizzs:
I recently downloaded a freeware called
"ppp-boost" which modifys the settings in the
windows95 registry for optimal data transfer on
the internet. My browser, netscape 4.2 really
flies. One BIG problem. I can print from my
programs like word, etc but I can't print anything
off the web or e-mail. I get a message "This value
could not be read"
NO, I didn't back up my registry, a friend tried
it with no problems - DUMB..Any help would be
appreciated.
