LOS ANGELES, Jan. 6 (Reuters) - Hambrecht & Quist LLC on
Tuesday cut its rating on shares of Omega Research Inc to hold
from buy.
-- Earlier on Tuesday, Omega Research, a developer of
real-time investment analysis software, said it expected
fourth-quarter earnings of $0.02 to $0.04 a share based on
lower-than-expected demand for its products.
-- Hambrecht had estimated a fourth-quarter profit of $0.07
a share on revenues of $8.4 million.
-- Shares of Omega closed down 1-3/4 at 3-1/16.
