A good idea - most larger computer systems are set up to separate
the relatively stable files like the OS and application programs
from the users' data files.

I originally installed TS 3.5 with that type of split. But when
I switched to 4.0, I also switched to a new computer and did not
do the separation. I believe someone has answered that question
definitively within the last few months.  Here is what I think;
hopefully you will get a confirmation.

Edit or_serve.ini (in your windows directory). If you are using
BMI, change the line

BONNDATA=c:\omega\server\btc

to point to the drive to which you move that directory tree.

Again, I'm not positive.
