Thanks, Mike, for you reply.  It prodded me to dig deeper.  What I
discovered is that I had left the scaling spec at the default "screen"
and TS apparently uses high & low values for determining scaling to the
"screen".  When I specified a specific appropriate ("user-specified")
range, it plotted fine.

Incidentally, when I pursued this issue with Omega tech support (before
my initial posting here), they agreed that "there is a bug, and you
cannot chart daily values for statistical symbols"!  So much for their
technical expertise!!!
