Do you really think that the CEO and CFO at BMI are going to idly sit by
and let the company go out of business?

They realize that if there is no fix they will have serious problems.
I feel confident that they like other companies (microsoft?) are
feverishly working on a solution. Tech support is usually the last area
of the company to know what is going on.
Call some of their top execs or top programers and you will hear a more
than form a techie.

Does anyone really think that the entire banking industry will cease to
exist due to a computer program.  If the program was written in the
first place than it can be rewritten to conform to the year 2000. It may
be expensive but I am sure that all of the banks are working on it.

Relax somehow someone will figure out a way to get a credit card renewal
into the next century.
