Just google MT4 or Metatrader.  Most of the Forex brokers provide it free.  You can sign up for a free demo account and download MT free.

Can you tell what the is the MT4 platform and where I can find information on Metatrader?

The owners of Metastock sell data to large users. They are not very interested  in Metastock.

Agreed. I bought MS11 to stay current. The new systems are hardly useful and I find myself using none of the new MS11 features. Tell me I am missing something useful please, forum people..
And yes. I run currency pairs using MT4 platform withg free data from an Aussie broker and see that the MS bars and data are a tad slower in forming RT compared to MT4.
I was also part of a local forum meeting where Equis staff presented Headley's add-on and raved about the Williams %R system in it. I am sorry but that system is a B- at best. more like a C grade. hate it when sales people just try to sell you stuff without concern for how it compares to say some simple systems that anyone can write. Throw in a name like Headley and you have a add-on to sell to your client base.
I would really like to see us find a free source for RT data so that we can do away with paying $1300 a year for QuoteCenter data every year.
Metastock really needs to hire someone on staff that can be more discriminating on whats a good add-on and whats not. Or they need to use a true effective beta group to evaluate these changes before zinging us with a 50 more indicators and systems that don't make you money. They need to remember that they can succeed if they met our real needs - which is to make moeny.
