Using the historical data on HOLDRS can give a pretty good representation of
many sectors. Attached is a chart drawn with MetaStock showing some of this
data (components within each ETF above their 200 day moving average, a well
seasoned composite indicator). Data is available for daily, weekly, monthly
and quarterly data periods and is integrated into MetaStock through my new
plug-in.
